About ZarWealth
ZarWealth is a personal finance blog for millennials. Honest reviews, actionable guides, and AI tools to help you build wealth in 2026.
ZarWealth is an independent personal finance project built around a simple frustration: most money advice online is either selling you something or repeating what everyone else already said. We test things instead. Real numbers, real screenshots, and calculators we build ourselves — so you can run your own numbers instead of trusting ours.
Who’s behind this
A small independent team, led by a founder who writes under the name Zar. We don’t show our faces — we show our work. Every review starts from the same test scenario, every calculator is built in-house, and every mistake we catch gets corrected publicly. The penguin you see around the site is our mascot and, in a way, our face: calm, methodical, slightly obsessed with compound interest.
Why pseudonymous? Because we’d rather be judged by whether our math holds up than by a headshot. Personal finance is full of confident faces selling bad products. We prefer the opposite trade: no face, verifiable work.
What we do differently
We build interactive tools for nearly every major guide, so you can disagree with us using your own numbers. We run the same scenario through every product we compare (see how we test). We publish “last reviewed” dates and fix what goes stale. And we tell you when we don’t know — “it depends” is sometimes the honest answer, and we’ll tell you what it depends on.
How we make money
Affiliate links, clearly disclosed. If you buy a book or open an account through our links, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. That never decides what we recommend: several of our top picks pay us nothing — Fidelity’s free planning tools, for example. Information, not financial advice.
